Our circumstances may shape our story, but they don't have to determine who we become. This is the heart behind CAM-O and the message we want every young person to know.
WHY CAM-O?
CAM-O was born from the lives of two brothers.
Michael and his younger brother Cameron grew up facing serious illness and spending much of their childhoods in and out of hospitals. Through those experiences, they learned firsthand how easy it can be for illness and adversity to become your identity.
After Cameron passed away in 2016, Michael carried his brother's legacy forward through CAM-O — building something dedicated to helping young people recognize the strength, identity and potential that exist beyond their circumstances.
Cam's story lives at the heart of everything we do.
